REFRIGERATED WORK COUNTERS

Refrigerated counter and display cases shall be manufactured in either self-contained or remote styles as indicated by the appropriate model number designation.
Counter tops shall be either 26 gauge (1.6 mm) stainless steel or 1-3/4 in. (42 mm) laminated, maple hardwood.
Base cabinets shall have enameled-steel finish on back and sides, unless otherwise indicated.
Display cases shall incorporate stainless steel tops, sides and where applicable, bottom shelves. Thermopane glass shall be used for see-thru windows and sliding doors. Plexi-glass shall be used for self-service flap doors. Cases shall have fluorescent lighting.
The interior of all refrigerated cabinets shall be stainless steel. All units shall have foam insulated cabinet walls and doors.
Interior shelved for display shall be chrome-plated wire. Shelves for base cabinets shall be slatted or perforated aluminum.
Air-cooled condensing units are standard on self-contained units. Full height display case units incorporate an evaporator coil in each of the upper and lower sections
